Collection of Personal Information

Kinetic Leaders may collect personally identifiable information, including information:

you provide to us when you send us your resume, C.V., professional bio or other documents;

you choose to make available on job boards or social media websites, such as LinkedIn, including photographs; and

you provide to us directly during telephone or in person conversations and job interviews. 

you provide about others you would like us to contact as potential job candidates (referrals); and

  • given to us from others who you provide as professional references.

This data may be obtained directly from you, through publicly available sources, your professional networking profile, news reports, third parties such as our clients and professional partners, providers of referrals, and, with your authorization, our background check and verification providers.

Kinds of Information We Collect

The kinds of information we may collect include:

name, contact information (e-mail address, address, telephone number);

professional experience, photographs, individual capabilities, qualifications, professional style profile, peer reviews, executive competencies, and interview notes;

education, language proficiency, security clearance information, work-related skills, awards and honors, professional certifications, personal interests and activities;

your qualifications or goals regarding future employment opportunities, including desired compensation (where permitted by applicable law), work locations and benefits; and

work authorization status.

Kinetic Leaders seeks to minimize the amount of sensitive personal information we collect, process or store. In order to align our processes with our commitment to ensuring equal opportunities, we may collect information about you (in the appropriate circumstances and in accordance with applicable local law) which may be classified as diversity information (or protected legal characteristics under California or federal law), such as your racial or ethnic background, gender, disability, age, sexual orientation, religion or beliefs, and/or socioeconomic background. Additionally, as some of our clients may be subject to employment diversity requirements, Kinetic Leaders may be required to share such information insofar as it pertains to the assignment you are a part of. Providing this additional information is voluntary and declining to do so will not affect any assessment or search.

How We Use Your Personal Information

Kinetic Leaders will use your personal information only to provide executive search services to our clients, match job seekers with client job opportunities, and operate basic business functions.

More specifically, we may use your personal information for the following purposes:

  • considering or recommending you as a candidate for positions for which we are recruiting on behalf of a client;

  • responding to your inquiries or information requests;

  • communicating with you about roles for which we are recruiting;

  • for our internal business purposes, such as sales and marketing, accounting, data analysis, audits, developing new products, services and offerings, enhancing, improving or modifying our services, and operating and expanding our business activities;

  • complying with applicable laws and regulations; and

  • notifying you about changes to our business or privacy policy.

Sharing Your Personal Information with Third Parties

Kinetic Leaders will never sell, rent, or lease your personal information.

Kinetic Leaders may share personal information about you, on a need-to-know basis, with the following types of third parties:

  • potential employers – we may disclose personal information about you to our search clients; 

  • compliance with laws – we may disclose personal information where we are legally required to or to comply with applicable laws, regulations, subpoenas, court orders, legal process, or government requests; and

  • when you consent – we may disclose your personal information for other purposes with your explicit consent.

References

If you provide a personal reference or feedback for an individual, we may collect your name, contact details, certain professional and employment details (such as title, occupation, qualifications and employment history), references and feedback, and your connection to the individual. We may collect this information directly from you, the individual, or publicly available sources. Any reference or feedback you provide about an individual would not be attributed to you if shared with third parties unless you authorize us to do so.

Clients

If you are a Kinetic Leaders client, information collected will typically include your contact details (such as name, telephone number, address, email address and job title).

Children's Privacy

Kinetic Leaders’ web site is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under the age of 13, we will delete that data from our systems.

Data Storage and Retention

Your personal information is stored on devices controlled by Kinetic Leaders located in the U.S., and in databases on the servers of the cloud-based database management services that Kinetic Leaders engages including, but not limited to, Ezekia.

We will retain your personal information as needed to fulfill the purposes set forth in this privacy policy unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. To dispose of personal data, we may delete it or take other appropriate steps. Data may persist in copies made for backup and business continuity purposes for additional time.

You may have certain rights relating to your personally identifiable information provided for under the laws applicable in your country. These may include the right to:

  • transparency – we are required to be transparent about how we use your personal data;

  • access – you can request a copy of your personal information;

  • modification – you can request changes or corrections to your personal information;
